New York City Comptroller William C. Thompson, Jr. today joined with Governor David Paterson, other elected officials, and community leaders to discuss Haiti disaster relief efforts across New York City and State.
“One of the things I am most proud to say about New Yorkers is that we always come through to help those who are in need,” said New York City Comptroller William C. Thompson, Jr. “Even in these tough fiscal times, when New Yorkers are struggling to make ends meet and put food on our own tables, we still reach into our hearts and our pockets to help those that are suffering even more than we are.”
