New York City Comptroller William C. Thompson, Jr. today released the 2008 edition of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Directory of Services and Resources for the New York Metropolitan area.

The directory is a vital resource, featuring more than 600 community organizations, HIV/AIDS resources, healthcare providers, support groups, legal services, professional associations and other services in the metropolitan area.

“The Directory is an invaluable resource about all types of services and organizations in the area,” Thompson said. “The Directory includes relevant information about useful resources. I know it will continue to serve you as an invaluable guide to all that the five boroughs have to offer the LGBT communities, family and friends.”
