Comptroller William C. Thompson, Jr. today sent five letters to insurance companies regarding their delay in meeting their obligations to policyholders regarding the reconstruction of the World Trade Center site. The companies are: Zurich Financial Services, Swiss Re Insurance America Corp., Allianz Global Risks U.S. Insurance Company, St. Paul Travelers Companies, and Royal & SunAlliance USA.
