THOMPSON STATEMENT ON LOCAL 32BJ AND REAL ESTATE ADVISORY BOARD TENTATIVE AGREEMENT |
|
City Comptroller William C. Thompson, Jr. issued the following statement regarding last night’s tentative agreement between SEIU Local 32BJ and the Real Estate Advisory Board:
“I am pleased that SEIU Local 32BJ and the Real Estate Advisory Board remained at the negotiating table and have reached a tentative agreement. By doing so, Local 32BJ and the Real Estate Advisory Board have put New Yorkers’ interests first. Now Local 32BJ’s 28,000 dedicated apartment building workers have an agreement that recognizes the hard work they perform, keeping New Yorkers’ homes clean, safe and secure.”
