THOMPSON STATEMENT ON THE TRANSPORTATION BOND ACT

New York City Comptroller William C. Thompson, Jr. today issued the following statement in support of the Transportation Bond Act:

“The Transportation Act will mean $450 million in public transit improvements that will dramatically change our way of life and will help people all across this city. The Act is a responsible way to fund improvements to the city’s infrastructure and capital campaigns that will lead to long-term growth. I encourage voters to vote yes on Proposal 2 on November 8th.”
