COMPTROLLER THOMPSON STATEMENT ON RICHMOND HILL ASSAULT

New York City Comptroller William C. Thompson, Jr. today issued the following statement on the July 11 th assault of Rajinder Singh Khalsa in Richmond Hill:

Every New Yorker should be outraged by this week’s vicious attack on Rajinder Singh Khalsa. We live in an age and in a city where all New Yorkers must embrace diversity, tolerance and understanding, and not advance ignorance, bigotry and hatred. I am outraged by this week’s assault and expect that anyone involved will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
