New York City Comptroller William C. Thompson, Jr. today released the 20th edition of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Directory of Services and Resources.

The directory is a vital resource, featuring more than 700 listings of community organizations, HIV/AIDS resources, healthcare providers, support groups, legal services, professional associations and other services in the metropolitan area.

"The directory is a significant source of information not just for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities but for all New Yorkers who need important numbers and services," Comptroller Thompson said. "We have expanded our listings this year to encompass more counseling programs, healthcare services, and houses of worship."
