GLOSSARY

AGENT
Explanation
Customer agents help riders with directions and other questions and in emergencies. They wear burgundy blazers and may leave the booth and walk through the station.

STATION BOOTH
Explanation
Station booths have agents who sell MetroCards and help riders with directions, other questions and in emergencies.

ADDITIONAL NOTE
Both customer agents and station booth agents act as “eyes and ears,” lending an official presence to station entrances and increasing a feeling of security.

TAKE ACTION
Get the word out Send a link to friends so they know what cuts they face.
Speak out E-mail the MTA directly to protest these service cuts.
