The Office of Policy Management analyzes issues and trends for a broad array of City policies and issues and provides policy options for the Comptroller to help him participate effectively in setting municipal priorities. Policy reports cover areas such as adult and children's health, housing, hospitals, mass transit, economy growth and jobs, school construction and other education issues, and workforce development. For the Comptroller, the Office also prepares testimony and correspondence that is publicly released. On many issues, the Office works closely with other elected officials and community groups to formulate and implement policy and program changes. The Office also houses the New York City Comptroller’s Task Force on Adolescent Pregnancy, Parenting and Prevention.
