Request For Proposals For Custodial Services For Short Term Assets Of The New York City Retirement Systems And Certain Other New York City Funds
(End Date: August 19, 2008 by 4:00 p.m. (ET)

The Comptroller of the City of New York is soliciting proposals from qualified banks to provide custody for short term investment assets of the City of New York and certain other City related entities, including the New York City Retirement Systems (collectively, the “NYC Funds”).  The contract term will be three years with renewal options for up to six additional years.

Request For Qualifications And Expressions Of Interest Private Equity Real Estate Investment Program
(End Date: July 30, 2008 by 4:00 p.m. (ET)

The Comptroller of the City of New York (the “Comptroller”), on behalf of the New York City Board of Education Retirement System (“NYCBERS” or “System”), intends to deploy an allocation of approximately $130 million to private equity real estate investments. NYCBERS is seeking exposure to a diverse range of property types through stable return (or “core”) investments as well as enhanced/opportunistic investments . The Comptroller is soliciting qualifications and expressions of interest (“RFQ”) from qualified investment managers or managing partners to implement this allocation through one or more fund-of-funds, manager of manager funds, limited partnerships, open-end real estate funds, or similar investment vehicles.

RFP for U.S. Fixed Income Investment Management Services
(End Date: July 15, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. (ET)

The Comptroller of the City of New York (the “Comptroller”), acting on behalf of the New York City Retirement Systems (the “Systems”), invites proposals to identify and select investment managers, or a pool of investment managers, to create and manage sector-specific Fixed Income portfolios for the following sectors: U.S. Government, Investment Grade Credit, and Mortgage-backed Pass-throughs. Managers may propose on one or more of the sectors.

RFP for Economically Targeted Investment Programs
(No End Date – AMended and Re-Issued 3/08)

The Comptroller of the City of New York, on behalf of the New York City retirement systems, pension funds, and variable supplements funds (the "Systems") requests proposals for Economically Targeted Investment Programs.
The Systems' ETI objectives are to provide the funds a market rate of return that is commensurate with the risk assumed, to fill capital gaps in NYC, i.e.  invest in underserved markets, and to provide specific quantitative and/or qualitative benefits to New York City and, in particular, its low-, moderate- and middle-income communities and populations. Collateral benefits may include housing rehabilitation or creation, economic development or job creation. The Comptroller, on behalf of the Systems is issuing this RFP to identify and select new ETI programs and investments. One or more proposals may be selected by each System. Your firm may propose one or more programs or investments, but a separate proposal must be submitted for each.
There is no due date or deadline for submission of proposals. Therefore, proposals may be submitted at any time, subject to future determination by the Systems to no longer accept proposals.
